Youth Manifesto

This is the first manifesto representing the views of blind young people.
It has been developed by us, the RLSB Youth Forum, and the wider vision impaired community through the first annual Future Exchange youth conference.

We will be taking the messages and solutions detailed in this manifesto to the people and organisations that can help us.

Twenty-five per cent of people living with sight loss are dissatisfied with their life overall. [1]

This manifesto is a summary of what we believe needs to happen to change this figure. We hope that it allows you to understand clearly and quickly what the issues we face are, and more importantly how we propose they are solved.

We hope that this manifesto will represent the views of young vision impaired people, so we can bring the community together to make changes to improve our lives and the lives of future generations of vision impaired young people.
