Our sports programme
Sports Without Limits is our free programme that gives blind and visually impaired young people aged 11-25 the chance to experience a wide range of sporting activities including cricket, football, tennis, goalball, athletics, judo and even rock climbing.
Event schedule
Our sports programme Sports without Limits organises a variety of activity days that take place across London, Kent and Sussex and are open to children within mainstream education. Take a look at our events schedule to find out how to take part.
- Holiday Activity Days are held during school holidays and give young people the chance to try up to three sports.
- Weekend Activity Days take place on a monthly basis in Sussex.
- Residential trips are held in an outward bound holiday centre and offer an exciting five-day sporting break.
The days are a great chance for blind and visually impaired young people to try out new sports and more importantly to have fun, build confidence and make new friends. The programme also helps youngsters progress to county and national level, if they wish to take their hobby further.
Activity days are run by friendly coaches who have played for the England Blind Cricket team.
We also works with teachers and teaching assistants in mainstream education to equip them with the skills they need to work with blind and visually impaired young people.
