Clubs and groups
RLSB has a number of social groups, where blind young people can enjoy a range of activities with the support of their peer group.
As well as being packed with fun and engaging activities, the groups encourage members to be independent and confident whilst encouraging participants to get actively involved in their community.
Our groups typically organise activities such as:
- outings – vists to London landmarks, theme parks, museums, galleries
- sports and leisure – dance, bowling, sailing, tandem bikes, swimming
- arts and culture – drama workshops, art sessions, theatre, cinema
- training sessions – cooking, anti-bullying, confidence building, employment.
All our groups are fully supported by facilitators and sighted guides and are free of charge.
