Early Years

Supporting the whole family

Discovering that your child has a sight condition can be a difficult time for parents. You may be anxious about the future and frustrated at not being able to make things better.

Our free Early Years programme has been set up to help you from the point that your child is diagnosed, offering support when you need it the most to enhance the wellbeing of the whole family and raising aspirations for your child’s future. We strongly believe in helping you become an expert in your child’s development. Through our support in hospital settings, courses and workshops, we give you the confidence and skills you need to support your vision impaired child.

Our experienced team of expert staff work with children aged 0-5 years at our Parent & Toddler groups to help them reach key childhood development milestones and allow them to make the most of the sight they have, giving them the best possible start in life.

Our early years support has the expertise to support and develop your child through their early years, preparing them for school and a life of aspiration and potential.

You can show your support for our early year services and help expand our family services with a donation today.
