Little Heroes Week

Thank you everyone who helped our Little Heroes Week become such a success.  We're incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, whether they got their work involved, came along to one of our Tea Parties, or dressed up with friends and family.  We're already so excited to start planning Little Heroes Week 2014!

Read about our Greenwich Tea Party which started the week off with a bang!
On 26 October our Tea Party in Sevenoaks had arts, crafts, and even a jazzy music session

The money raised from Little Heroes Week 2013 will make a huge difference to the amazing vision impaired babies and toddlers who use our Early Years services.  We asked you to unleash your inner Super Hero for the day to help ensure we can provide specialist care and support to even more vision impaired toddlers and their parents. Thank you to all who took part!

I want to take part with a school/nursery

I want to take part in my workplace

I want to take part with friends/family

In 2012 our amazing supporters helped beat our Little Heroes Nursery Appeal target of £100,000 in 100 days; raising an incredible £103,598 for our Early Years services with blind toddlers.

Following the success of the appeal the Little Heroes Nursery Fund was established to help meet the ongoing costs of providing our early years care. The fund has helped open new Parent & Toddler groups in Greenwich and Stratford, with more planned to open later in the year and throughout 2014.

Vision impaired children can become isolated and lonely so working with them when they’re small is so important to give them the building blocks for a full and independent life.

With your support we’ll be able to reach even more blind toddlers and their families across London and the South East.

Meet some of the Little Heroes who have been helped by the money raised so far.
