Parent and Toddler Group, Greenwich
Introducing our free parent and toddler group in Greenwich for visually impaired toddlers.
Here at RLSB we are experts at supporting blind and partially sighted toddlers through their early years development.
Our nursery in Kent has been catering for blind and partially sighted pre-school children for over 20 years and we are so excited that we can bring our unique knowledge to the families of Greenwich.
In 2012 we launched a weekly parent and toddler group to support families in their local communities, with plans to start a two day a week nursery service. In each session we will support your child in developing:
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Communication and social skills
- Ease of movement and mobility
- Self help skills
- Confidence and creativity
Our personalised approach includes support for the whole family. Whilst the children enjoy structured and free play time and sensory room sessions, parents (and grandparents) can enjoy the chance to share their experiences and form friendships with people who understand.
