Our alumni

At RLSB we pride ourselves in helping young people transform their lives and for many years we have helped many students realise and fulfil their ambitions.

Our long-standing alumni association has enabled us to keep in touch with former students and has helped these individuals to build lasting friendships with other former students and staff.

Anyone who attended The Salusbury Road Workshops, Dorton College or Dorton House School is eligible to receive Full Member membership while Associate Membership is open to any blind person or relative of a Full Member.

Our annual subscription is currently £10 for all members and ex-staff, however for a fee of £50 after having been a Full or Associate Member for 10 years, any person can become a Life Member.

By joining our alumni association you will have the opportunity to attend our annual general meeting, come along to our outings and take part in our regular event at Christmas. You’ll also receive our yearly newsletter.
