Director of Services – Elaine Martin

Elaine Martin is the Royal London Society for Blind People’s director of services. Ms. Martin has held various senior roles across the organisation during her nine years at the RLSB. Ms. Martin is a qualified accountant and came to us after working for a number of years in the NHS and the Audit Commission.

 

Ms. Martin has been responsible for determining the strategic development of services for adults and delivering our expanding range of provision. A fundamental part of our mission is to enhance the social inclusion of blind and partially sighted adults via improved training and employment opportunities. We have set ourselves an ambitious agenda of reaching more clients, increasing the level of support from a growing pool of employers and expanding our community based services.
