Introduction to the RLSB
The Royal London Society for the Blind (RLSB) was established in 1838 to "teach the blind to read". Throughout its history the charity has grown and evolved, and today the RLSB offers independently acclaimed "best in class" education, training and employment services to people who are blind or partially sighted.
On the Dorton campus in Seal, nr. Sevenoaks, Kent, the RLSB runs Dorton House Nursery,Dorton House School and Dorton College of Further Education. Dorton House, the Society's administrative headquarters, is also available to hire for weddings, corporate events and other special occasions.
The Society's Adult Support Services are based in London.
