The RLSB are able to offer organisations a range of tailored solutions that support them in the employment of, or provision of services to, disabled people. These solutions can relate to IT systems and websites, the physical working environment and staff training.

Business accessibility assessment
Did you know that the Disability Discrimination Act applies to all employers and everyone who provides a service to the public?

The DDA states that employers have to make 'reasonable adjustments' so they
do not discriminate against disabled customers or employees. This could include providing printed materials in audio or Braille formats, ensuring your website is accessible, marking corners, steps and counter edges so they can be easily seen and training staff to help a customer who has a disability.

How we can help
We can undertake a business accessibility study for your organisation that explores all aspects of accessibility and provides practical recommendations relating to the work environment or to areas open to the public that can have significant benefits for employees and customers.
