The Virgin London Marathon is one of the world’s biggest sporting events with more than 35,000 people taking part, and RLSB want to help you to be a part of it. If you have ever thought about running in the London Marathon then this is your year! Follow in the footsteps of the Olympic marathon team and take part in this spectacular event.

Raising well over £40 million for charity each year it is the largest single fundraising event in the world, thousands of spectators line the streets of London every year to spur on runners, ensuring an electric atmosphere along the entire route.

Training for and running a marathon whilst raising sponsorship and maintaining a daily routine at home and at work, is very demanding and a big commitment.
We give our runners the best possible support and encouragement in the lead up to and after the event to ensure you have a great marathon experience:
- Fundraising pack containing lots of advice on a variety of ways to raise sponsorship
- A dedicated running events manager on hand with first class fundraising support
- Training tips and schedules to help you every step of the way
- RLSB runners vest with iron on letters
- We will of course be there on the day to cheer you on and greet you at the finish line with refreshments and a well deserved massage
